This is how DNA’s animals travel to Spain
Since the signing of the agreement between DNA Genetics and Andrimner Applied Genetics, a total of 6 imports have been made from the United States. In these shipments, more than 1,300 YY females have been brought for the nucleus farms in Spain and Germany, as well as for customers, and over 170 LL, YY, DD boars for our insemination stations (La Coromina, 5 Villas, and COMAPOR) and for those of our customers.
DNA Geneitcs is a leader in the U.S. market with a 28% market share in boars and is the second largest supplier of females.
By the end of 2018 we will have the first YY GrandParent sows and L241 F1 hybrids available, born on our genetic nucleus, Granja Levosaita, and on the German multiplication farm. These females contain all the genetic improvements produced by DNA Genetics in their American nucleus and will surely provide excellent results on our country’s commercial farms.
